Enoch Wright Hess
Death of E. W. Hess
E.W. Hess was born at Goshen, Ind., November 14, 1848 and died at the Douglas hospital June 17, 1913.
Mr. Hess was raised on a farm in Indiana, and in his younger days taught school, ran a sawmill and did contract work.
April 1, 1878, he married Harriet D. Beckner, who survives him, and from that union there are two sons, M.N. and R. B. Hess, and one daughter, Mrs. Orale Brown, of Dupier, Mont., now living.
Mr. Hess came to Wyoming February 2, 1909, and entered land south of Lost Springs in April, following, where he made his home.
There are two sisters and five brothers, one of whom, H.G. Hess, is in the Minetner Lumber company of this city (Douglas, Wyoming.)
Funeral services will be held from his late home in lost Springs, Saturday afternoon at 2:30.
