Homer Lee Moore
Homer Lee Moore passed away peacefully on May 2, 2021 in McConnelsville, Ohio.
Homer was born April 2, 1939 to Burtrum Lee and Edna Louise Burke Moore of Lance Creek, Wyo. He attended a small country school and later went to Lance Creek school. After school, he went to work for Art Bullock on an oil rig, he also worked for the Town of Lusk and Niobrara High School.
Then, he took up the joy of his life playing guitar and singing. He played for dances with his uncle, Floyd Wilkison, and friend, Paul Schwartz. He stared his own band playing in Wyoming, Montana and other places. He met Joyce Street while playing in Montana. They were later married, and a son, Jimmy, was born. Sometime later, they divorced.
He met the love of his life Karol in Midwest, Wyo. They moved to Ohio where they married and made a home. Homer worked for a company building home foundations until he retired several years later.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother, Leo Lloyd Moore. He is survived by a son, Jimmy Lee (Kim) Moore, and children, Jon Lee, Bailie and Rylie Jo of Powell, Wyo., sister, Hellen Irene Moore Fulk of Lusk. Cousins Lottera Miller of Lusk, Lorraine Anderson of Canada, Stonie Burke of Texas and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His service and burial will be in Ohio.
Note: Homer Lee Moore served in the Wyoming National Guard.
