Death entered the home of Albert Ritterbusch and took as his toll their baby boy, George Walter. He was ill but a very short time. Rev Paul Stengel preached the funeral services Sunday afternoon.
George Walter Ritterbusch, son of Albert and Emma Ritterbusch, was born in Van Tassell, October 30, 1920 and departed this life September 23, 1922.
He leaves to mourn his departure his father, mother, two sisters and two brothers, and a host of friends who extend their sympathy to the bereaved ones.
Darling baby, you have left us,
How we miss your smile and cheer,
We too, will be called ere long---
Then we will join you, Georgie dear.

"Praise God! Death's hour of sadness,
My Saviour turns to gladness:
I go to Paradise!
Complain not, mother, father! When 'round my grave ye gather, Lay me to rest with songs of praise.
Nought better could befall me Than that the Lord should call me From hence, where sin holds sway. Who is on earth a stranger, Must ever be in danger Till he to dust is laid away.
Farewell! I now must leave you: What doth so sorely grieve you; What doth so sorely grieve you, That others, too, will share. Be now to God commended; In heav'n all woe is ended; We soon will meet in glory there.
It has pleased the Lord of life and death to call out of time into eternity George Walter Ritterbusch, son of Albert Ritterbusch and his wife Emma (nee Rink). He was born is Van Tassell Wyoming, on the 30th day of October, in the year of 1920, and was received into the covenant of the Triune God through the Holy Sacrament of Baptism in the Evangelical Lutheran church at Node, the following year. After a short illness, he quietly passed away Saturday noon, September 23, and his little body was laid to rest in the the chamber of the grave at Van Tassell, the Lutheran minister of this city, Paul H.C. Stengel officiating. The funeral sermon was based on the beautiful words which the Lord spoke through His prophet, Jeremiah, and which are recorded in the the third verse of the 31st chapter, and read: "I have loved thee with an everlasting love, therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee."
The little boy leaves to mourn, his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
