Mrs. Hattie Edwards, Former Resident of Lusk, Dies at Her Colorado Home
Mrs. Harry Rogers received a telegram Wednesday, notifying her of the death of Mrs. Hattie Edwards, who was well know to all old residents here, as Lusk was her home for many years.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwards sold their property and left here about six years ago, going to Colorado, where they have lived since.
Mrs. Edwards hadn't been well all winter and about three weeks ago, went from her home at Deloras to Denver, where she stayed at the the home of Mrs. Lucy Bergerson, also formerly of Lusk.
She passed away last Tuesday night, January 24th, at 12:30.
Mr. Edwards took the body to her old home in Missouri for burial. Besides her husband and one son Chester, she leaves three sisters in Missouri, one in Omaha, Nebr., and her brother, Jack Evans, well known in Lusk.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Rebekah lodge here and had a large circle of friend, who will be greatly shocked and grieved to hear of her passing away.
The Herald joins then in extending sympathy to the ones who are left to grieve.
