Mrs. J. P. Risberg Passes to Great Beyond Sunday
GRIEF OVER DEATH OF SON IS BELIEVED TO HAVE HURRIED HER DEATH
Mrs. Johanna Amolia Risberg, wife of John P. Risberg, died at their home here Sunday morning, October 4, 1925 at the age of 63 years.
Mrs. Risberg was born in Sweden, April 10, 1862 and was married to Mr. Risberg forty-two years ago. To this union four children were born but two boys and one girl died while small. The other son passed away two years ago at the age of 35 years. He was quite a noted athlete and since his death the mother has grieved deeply and undermined her health which had been failing since that time.
The decedent had made several visits to America from Sweden, but since 1922 she had made this her home.
The funeral services were held from the Austin, Elquist, Slack Co. undertaking parlors Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J.H. Clark officiating.
Mrs. William Jack sang two solos, and was accompanied by Miss Mary Lawton.
The pall bearers were George Saffell, R.A. Faulk, A.A. Thon, G.D. Lumbard, E.D. Tengleblade and Geo. Brooks, Sr.
The Herald-Standard extends sympathy to the bereaved husband.
