Albert Lewis Prelle Succumbs to Effects of Accident
Funeral Services Held at Local Undertaking Parlors Tuesday; Interment in Lusk Cemetery
A sad accident occurred at the Chris Prelle home west of Hat Creek last Sunday, April 25th, when the eldest child, Albert Lewis Prelle, while riding in a wagon, somehow fell beneath the wheels and was crushed. The little lad lived until Monday when he was being brought to Lusk to receive medical treatment at the hospital. Just as the edge of town was reached, the little soul winged its way back to its Maker.
Albert Lewis Prelle was born July 4, 1916 at Duff, Nebr., moving with his parents about 9 years ago to the home northeast of Hat Creek, at which place he resided at the time of his death, Monday, April 27, 1926, at the age of nine years, nine months and twenty-two days.
Funeral services were held at the Austin, Elquest, Slack Undertaking parlors Tuesday morning, April 27th. Services were conducted by Ford B. Kuns and music was furnished by the male quartet consisting of E.M. Phillips, C.C. Browning, Reuben A. Faulk and F.B. Kuns.
Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
Besides his father and mother, the little boy leaves three brothers, and two sisters to mourn his passing.
