Mary E. Dallam

Mrs. Mary E. Dallam died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D.E. Billman, living seven miles northeast of Armor, S. Dak., Thursday, May 20th at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 28 days.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hawley and was born at Clinton, Ia., February 22, 1856.

She was united in marriage with Theodore Dallam at Clinton, Ia., Nov. 25th, 1878.

Three children were born to then, all of whom are living. They are: Mrs. Mayme Billman, Armour, S.D,; Howard C. Dallam of Pine Ridge, S.D.; And Carl A Dallam of Van Tassell, Wyo.

Her husband preceded her in death, having passed away in 1890.

Mrs. Dallam  moved to Van Tassell in 1912 and made her home there until about two years ago when she went to Armour to make her home with her daughter.

Funeral services were held in the Congregational church at Armour, on Sunday, May 23rd, and interment was 
made in Pleasant Ridge cemetery at that place.

Her son, Carl A. Dallam and Mrs. Dallam of Van Tassell were present at the funeral services.
