Mary LaRae Froese

Mary “LaRae” Froese, 58, passed away on Nov. 14, at her apartment in Lusk.

LaRae was born in Denver, and spent most of her life in Aurora, Colo.

Growing up, she enjoyed concerts and the typical 70’s party scene.

She held a variety of jobs throughout her life: model, cosmetologist, bartender and waitress.

She has two living children: Krystal Castacio and Kyle Mills.

Her joy was her grandchildren: Wesley, Gabriel, Angelica, Gianni and Cian Castacio. Her son Kyle is expecting his first child (a son) due in December. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who had a special place in her heart, and lasting memories in theirs.

She liked learning about archeology and the paranormal. Her favorite place to visit was any beach where she could sit in the sand and watch crashing waves.

She is survived by four brothers: Dave, Michael and Jim Froese, and Kip Garhart. Her brother Jamie Lambert and sister Bobbi Buchanan preceded her in death.

There is a memorial Facebook page called LaRae Froese Memorial for those wishing to post pictures or special memories with LaRae.

She will be cremated, and her ashes will be scattered into the Gulf Ocean.
