Mrs. Bert Case Dies After Heart Attack Saturday
WAS WIFE OF FORMER LUSK MAN; BURIAL TAKES PLACE IN MANVILLE CEMETERY
Had Been Resident of Wyoming for Almost Forty Years; Husband and Brother Survive.
Lusk friends were shocked to hear of the sudden passing away of Mrs. Bert Case at her home in Crawford, on Saturday, December 15, 1923.
The cause of her death was given as heart failure as she died very suddenly.
Winifred Allen Case was born in Reading Ia., September, 1882, but came to Manville, Wyoming with her parents at the age of four years, where she lived until she was grown.
In November, 1903, she was married to Bert Case of Lusk but they located in Manville where they lived until about seven years ago, having at that time moved to Crawford.
The remains were brought back to Manville for burial and funeral arrangements were in charge of Mr. G.J. Armstrong of the Austin, Elquist, Slack Co., undertakers. The services were held from the Methodist church with Reverend Powell of Jireh, officiating.
The body was laid to rest in the Manville cemetery, beside those of her father and mother. Besides her husband she is survived by one brother, Gaylord Allen of Manville. Mrs. Fred Rogers of this city is a cousin of the deceased.
