Anna Pipher
Grandma
Mrs. Anna Pipher, affectionately known to a host of friends as "Grandma" Pipher, was laid to rest in the Guernsey Cemetery Monday afternoon, following a brief funeral service held in the Presbyterian Church and officiated over by the Rev. Harman of that city. The Peet Mortuary of Lusk had charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Pipher passed away at the Lusk Hospital last Thursday, June 27, at 2:30 o'clock. The cause of her death was senility, with a chronic heart condition.
Anna Albright Pipher was born in Ripon, Wisconsin, on April 8, 1853. She was united in marriage to Ervin Pipher and to this union was born one son, Wilson, who now resides in Sunrise, Wyo. She is preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in 1898, and by one granddaughter. She moved from Wisconsin to Wyoming in 1916, settling near Sunrise. Since that time she has resided in that community.
She is survived by one son, Wilson of Sunrise; two grandsons, two granddaughters, one brother in Kansas and one sister in New York City.
The pallbearers were Harry Kidder, Don Chalfant, Jack Welch, Sam Illig, Farris Thomas and Ed Turhman.
