Brunckhorst Girl Dies Wednesday
Burma Maxine Brunckhorst, 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Brunckhorst of Van Tassell vicinity; passed away at their home 13 miles north of Van Tassell Wednesday night, June 17th, at 11:20 o'clock. She had been seriously ill for the past three weeks suffering from complications following the smallpox.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Congregational Church at Van Tassell with Rev. Cowan as officiator. Burial will be made there also.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brunckhorst, and three sisters, Catherine, Mary Alice and Wyoma.
She was born in Harrison, Nebr., on April 27, 1922, and has lived her entire life in that community receiving her education in the schools of Niobrara County.
The Peet Mortuary has charge of the arrangements.
