Berdena Jackson
Berdena Day was born in Rockford, Ill., July 10, 1881 where she grew to young womanhood. In 1902 she was united n marriage to Hugh McHatton and went with him to South Dakota where she lived for 10 years.
In 1918 she came to Lusk, Wyoming and May 10, 1925 was united in marriage to V.E. Jackson and had since that time been a continuous resident of this community, She had been in poor health the past five years and unable to work. She passed away suddenly at 5:30 a.m., at her home in Lusk.
While yet a girl in Rockford she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and had been a faithful worker over a period of many years. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband V. E. Jackson, her father, Daniel L. Day of Rockford, Illinois; one aunt, Rye Day also of Rockford; seven cousins, Hortense Parker, Warren, Verne, Clyde Dough Day; Gladys Gray and Lydia Best, together with a host of friends.
Funerals services were held from the Peet Funeral Chapel in Lusk with Rev. H.P. Evans officiating. The remains were then shipped to Franklin, Ky., which is Mr. Jackson's old home and services and burial conducted there.
