Isabel Coleman Dies; Service Monday Morning

Funeral service for Mrs. Lloyd (Isabel) Coleman, 51, was held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church under the direction of the Peet Mortuary.

The service was conducted by the Rev. Fred Bolinger with Tim Johnson, soloist, singing "Ivory Palaces" and "How Great Thou Art" accompanied by Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, organist.

Casket bearers were Albert Ruffing, Ramon Jenkins, Bud Hoblit, Johnnie Thon, Lewis Tschacher and Darrel Couch. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Isabel Jessie Coleman was born to Warren and Mae Parmely Kintigh at Miller, S. D., April 27, 1921 and died February 23 at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital.

The family moved to Wyoming in 1926 and settled at Shawnee. In September 1928 the family moved to Lusk and in May of 1930 moved to a farm west of Keeline.

She married Lloyd Coleman, March 1, 1936, and a son was born June 2, 1937.

In 1942 they moved to Lusk where she has since resided. Mrs. Coleman worked several years for J. C. Penney Co. and after the store closed worked at the City Clerk's office until about 1965 when she quit working because of ill health.

Mrs. Coleman was a member of the First Baptist Church and was very active in church work when her health permitted her to attend.

Survivors are her husband and son, Gene, of Lusk, two granddaughters, two step granddaughters, two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Couch, Oral, S.D. and Mrs. Clifford Cox, Lusk and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and two brothers died previously.
