Darlene Scott, 5, Accident Victim, to be Buried Here
Funeral services for five-year-old Darlene Scott, who was killed in an automobile accident will be held in Lusk on Friday.
The little girl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dillon Scott, formerly of Lusk and Lance Creek but now of Billings. She was instantly killed when the car in which she was riding with her mother and brother rolled over several times.
The accident happened last Friday on the highway between Bridger, Mont. and Crowley. Mrs. Scott was driving and in coming down a long grade lost control and the car plunged off the highway and rolled over.
Mrs. Scott and her 12-year-old son, Dillon, were thrown from the car and are still in serious condition at a Billings hospital. Both have been unconscious, Mrs. Scott suffering head injuries and a broken pelvis and Dillon head and chest injuries.
Mr. Scott has been working in Casper and his family was en route to see him.
The funeral services will be conducted from the Peet Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday.
