Seth Fleming
Seth Fleming, 81, Found Dead, Tues.
Seth Fleming, 81, was found dead on the floor of his home on the north side of the railroad track, Tuesday morning by John Christensen, at about 10 o'clock.
Mr. Christensen had been to the Fleming home the previous evening and found Mr. Fleming felling ill, but he did not want a doctor called, as he thought he would soon feel better, and had been uptown during the day.
The following morning, Christensen noticed that Fleming's dog had not been let out of the house, so thinking that Mr. Fleming might be too ill to get up, he went over to his neighbors and found that he had evidently gone to bed, but had tried to get up and had fallen to the floor, where he died.
It was estimated by the health authorities who investigated the case that Fleming had been dead about ten hours.
A nephew, Seth W. Tipton of Harrison, was notified and the remains were taken to Harrison, where the services and burial will take place.
Mr. Fleming was born ant Holton, Ind., in March of 1867, but little in regard to his life is known.
