John Bruegger
John Bruegger of the Node community passed away at the Sisters' Hospital in Hot Springs, So. Dak., Thursday, October 23, where he was a surgical patient.
The remains were brought to Lusk, where funeral services were conducted from the Peet Chapel on Monday, Oct. 27 with the Rev. F.C. Doctor, pastor of the Lutheran Church officiating.
Music was furnished by the Misses Phyllis Owens and Dorothy Humphrey, with Mrs. J.P. Watson presiding at the instrument.
Interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery and the casket bearers were Clarence Sides, Ray Freeman William Speerly, Roy Turnbull, Charles Lund and Levern James.
Mr. Bruegger was born in Switzerland and came to America in 1915, coming directly to the Node community, where his brother, Fred Bruegger, had already homesteaded.
Beside his brother, Fred, he is survived by three brothers in Switzerland and a sister, Emma, who resides in Canada.
