Rinnie Belle Dillon
Long-time area resident Rinnie Dillon died March 3 at the Community Hospital in Torrington. Memorial service was held at Peet Mortuary Chapel March 7 with the Rev. Mark Lohr officiating.
Rinnie Dillon was born January 5, 1913, at Newport, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Nellie Brewer. As a child she moved with her family to Manville, where she attended school. On December 31, 1930 she and Calvin E. Dillon were married at Lusk. They lived on their homestead north of Lance Creek for eight years before moving to Manville. They later moved to Springview, Neb., where they lived until retiring and moved back to a home in Lusk.
Music during the memorial service was provided by Minerva Watson, organist, who also accompanied Mark Lohr as he sand "One Day At A Time" and "We Are Going Down The Valley" and Carmen Gunn who sang "On The Wings Of A Dove."
Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Springview on March 8. The family would appreciate memorials to be made to the Heart Fund.
Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by one son, Calvin, Jr.;one brother Guy Brewer; her parents and one grandson.
She is survived by her husband Calvin of Lusk; five children, Frank Dillon, Donnebrog, Neb., Joe Dillon, Glerock, Lucille Williams, Riverton, Shirley Langer, Custer, S.D. and Coleen Stafford, Lusk; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
