Dayna Ann Borden, Daughter of Former Resident, Dies
Dayna Ann Borden, 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Borden died last Friday at the Colorado General Hospital in Denver as a result of a viral infection. She had been hospitalized in Casper for a week before that.
She was born March 1, 1957 in Casper and attended Jefferson Grade School. she was a member of the 8th grade class at East Junior High; a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and Job's Daughters Bethel 40.
Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Bustard Funeral Home in Casper with Rev. Gene Heglund of the Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Members of Bethel 40 participated in the services. Interment was made in Natrona Memorial Gardens.
Dayna is survived by her parents, George and Barbara Borden of 1260 South Kenwood, Casper; a brother Lance and one sister, Jackie, all of the family home; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Chambers of Mills and an aunt and uncle.
Mrs. Borden will be remembered here as the former Barbara Chambers, daughter of the Ted Chambers, who are former residents of Lance
Creek, Manville and Lusk.
