Robert Melvin Burdick
Memorial services for Robert Melvin Burdick, 53, of Bar Nunn, were held Wednesday, May 17 at the First Southern Baptist Church, Casper, with Rev. Aaron Remington officiating.
He died May 13, 2000 at Wyoming Medical Center from injuries sustained in a work related accident.
He was born October 7, 1946 in Scottsbluff, Neb., the son of James and Fern (Scott) Burdick, and graduated from Niobrara County High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968 in Vietnam.
He married Connie Lou Wilkison on June 3, 1995 at Alcova Lake, Wyo.
He was employed in traffic control.
He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Robby; his mother Fern Wasserburger of Lusk; his father James Burdick of Wheatland; two sisters: Myrna Birkle of Wheatland and Janet Oliver of Casper; and one brother Mickey Hock of Casper.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Becky Ann.
Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
