Funeral for Brother of Mrs. Upton Held
Funeral services were held February 8 for Daniel E Allen, of Frankilin, Nebr., brother of Mrs. Maude Upton of Lusk, from the Hutchins Funeral Home at Franklin. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, where he had served as custodian the past several years.
Daniel Allen, Son of Ethan and Mary Ellen Allen, was born April 4, 1885, south of Franklin. He spent most of his life in and around Franklin.
October 7, 1920 he married Paris L. Goings. They made their home in Franklin most of the time since. He was a member of the Methodist Church and of the I.O.O.F. Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Paris, five sisters and two brother. Mrs. Maude Upton of Lusk and Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Pugsley of Torrington attended the services.
