Mrs. Ada Mears, aged 28, wife of Charles Mears of Manville, died at the Douglas hospital on Monday. The body was taken to her former home at Manville, where burial was had.

Death of Mrs. Chas. Mears
Mrs. Chas Mears, who was taken to the Douglas hospital a few weeks ago, in a very serious condition, failed to rally from an operation which was performed on her last week and passed away Monday afternoon. Her remains were brought to Manville Tuesday afternoon and after short funeral services in the M. E. church where a large circle of friends and relatives gathered to show their last sad rites of love and respect, inhumation was held in Dellview cemetery, southeast of town.
On receipt of the sad news her father, Mr. Russell rushed to Manville to attend the funeral it being too late to notify the rest of the family.
Mrs. Chas. Mears was born at Olrich, South Dakota, October 12, 1887 and died May 3, 1915 at the age of 27 years, 6 months and 21 days. She was married to Chas. Mears on October 4, 1910. She leaves to mourn their loss a husband and a host of friends and relatives.
