Frank "Pat" Alexander Slagle
Frank "Pat" Slagle, 72, of Lusk, died in the hospital in Casper Friday.
He was born June 24, 1909, in Bennington, Kan., the son of Charles and Julia McCoy Slagle.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army July 18, 1942, at Fort Logan, Colo., and received his honorable discharge on August 12, 1943, at Fort Custer, Mich.
On August 20, 1971, he married Lucy Maude Spath in Lingle and had made his home in Lusk since that time.
Frank was a member of the Kiowa Community Church of Lyman, Neb.
Surviving is his wife Lucy, a brother Ernest Slagle of Lingle, and two sisters Mrs. Mary Persinger of Scottsbluff and mrs. Estella Lowry of Lyman.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Jones Mortuary in Mitchell with Rev. Maurice Williams officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial park Cemetery in Scottsbluff.
