Eddie H. Clifton
SAD DEATH AT LUSK
A couple of weeks ago a horse fell on the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton, who lived on a ranch near Hat Creek. Since that time the boy seemed to be suffering from rheumatism and was being treated for that disease--having never mentioned the accident. Last Saturday he suddenly grew worse, mortification setting in, and died. He was about 17 years of age. The funeral service was conducted at the Episcopal church Monday afternoon, a large number of people from the surrounding counties being present.

The fence around the new cemetery (in Lusk) has been put up, the ground laid out in lots and it is now in fine shape. The remains of the late Eddie Clifton were exhumed from the old burying grounds yesterday and laid to rest in the new cemetery, We understand other bodies will be taken up soon and removed to the new resting place.
