Raymond L. Reese
Raymond L. Reese was born May 23, 1905 in Logan, Kansas the son of George Lloyd and Grace Ann Reese. He attended schools in Logan and Phillipsburg, Kansas.
Raymond married Dorothy Crosley April 6, 1935 at St. Francis, Kansas.
Mr. Reese first came to Wyoming in 1914, but later lived in Kansas and Missouri before returning to Wyoming in 1932. He was engaged in farming and ranching and belonged to the American Quarterhorse Association and the American Angus Association.
Survivors included his widow, Dorothy; sons, Robert of Cheyenne, Wyoming and R. Dean of Laramie, Wyoming; daughter, Doris Carpenter of Douglas; granddaughters, Debbie Reese of Lincoln, Nebraska; Christa Reese of Newcastle, Wyoming; Michelle Reese of Shawnee, Wyoming; Heather Carpenter of Douglas; and Misti Reese of Shawnee. Also surviving were grandsons, Cary Ray Reese of Newcastle; Christopher and Shawn Carpenter of Douglas; Matthew Reese of Laramie, and Andy Reese of Newcastle.
He was preceded in death by one son, Warren, in 1976.
