Neva Sulston

Former Resident Died in Wash.

Mrs. Neva Burkholder Sulston, daughter of Mrs. Vena Burkholder, passed away at Chehalis, Washington, August 9th, 1941, following an operation for appendicitis.

The deceased was born near Keeline, Wyoming, April 30, 1921 and departed this life at St. Helena hospital, Chehalis, Washington, August 9th 1941, two days following an operation. Neva was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Sulston in December, 1940.

Mrs. Sulston was converted and joined the church at the age of thirteen and remained a loyal Christian. She and her husband were both students at Northwest Nazarene College of Nampa, Idaho, and were looking forward to a Christian life of service. Her untimely death leaves to mourn her departure her devoted husband, Kenneth H. Sulston,; her aunt and uncle, Melva and Charles Burr, with whom she had lived since early childhood, all of Centralia, Washington; her mother, Mrs. Vena Burkholder, brothers Harold and Neal of Fresno, Calif., and sister Mieili, also of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Engdall of Casper, Wyo., Irene Ruffing of Hyattsville, Wyo., Maxine Jassman of Lusk, Wyo., Bernitta Smith and Erwin Burkholder of Worland, Wyo., Lieut. Meri Burkholder of Rantoni, Ill., and Richard Burkholder of Ft. Lewis, Wash, as well as a legion of friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jassman and Irene Burkholder attended the funeral services, driving to Washington and returning here the past week.
