William Edward Buchanan
W. Buchanan was born at Lockwood, Mo., January 13, 1880, and died at Lusk on January 22, 1927.
At the age of twenty-two years he came to Wyoming residing in and near Douglas until eighteen years ago when he took up a homestead in the Cheyenne River country north of Lusk where he resided until the time of his passing.
The cause of his death is attributed to heart failure.
The deceased is survived by his former wife, Mrs. Georgia Buchanan and one daughter, Miss Beulah Buchanan, both of Newcastle; by his parents and one brother and one sister, who reside at Lockwood, Mo., and one brother in Monette, Mo.
Services were held Monday, January 24th in the funeral parlors of the Universal store, with Rev. N. C. Coggin officiating.
Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
