Goldie Krumriey
Obituary
Goldie Hamlin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Hamlin, was born June 22, 1896, at Exira, Iowa, and about twelve years ago she came to Wyoming with her parents and this has been her home ever since. She died May 5, 1917.
On July 11, 1914, she was married to Carl Krumriey and besides her young husband she leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Iva Boyles and Mrs. Grace Reed and a brother, Raymond.
Goldie never was strong and last fall she went to Iowa to see if the change would do her some good, but dropsy set in and she also had leakage of the heart. About eight weeks ago, her sister, Mrs. Reed and husband, brought her home. Dr. Priest of Harrison was called, and all that loving hands could do was done, but in spite of all she had to leave them. Before she passed away she prayed for all of her loved ones, also the doctor and nurse.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. Alexander of Jireh, and a large crown was out to show their respect. The floral offerings were real love tokens. Her's was a beautiful death, and she looked so peaceful lying in her casket.
When those who love us fade from sight
And we no more with them can be;
The thought that cheers our lonely night
Is this: Dear Lord, they are with Thee.
