Born June 7, 1848 in Franklin County, OH to William and Mary Ann (Stafford) Caparoon. Married Amelia Hammond in 1870. Father of John Alden, William, Mary Arminda, Maybelle G. Northrup, Robert, Gordon, and Rosa. Eight other children pre-deceased him.

JOHN T. CAPAROON DIES

Another old citizen passes away Friday March 26, 1920. Uncle John Caparoon, who had a paralytic stroke some 4 weeks ago, died leaving a wife and 3 sons and 2 daughters to mourn his loss. At this writing we are not in possession of any particulars. We sympathize with the deceased. Sunday the 28th, he was buried in Prairie View cemetery.
