Dewitt Stone Killed In Highway Accident
Dewitt S. Stone 68, Lusk resident for several years, was killed instantly when the car he was driving overturned on Highway 96 near the Colorado-Kansas State line last Thursday.
He was alone in the car. The Colorado Patrol said that Stone was thrown from his car when it skidded and overturned and that he was crushed by it when it rolled on him.
Mrs. Stone is expected to be in Lusk later this week to pack her husband's belongings.
