Father of Lusk Women Killed in Train Accident
Martin Wilson, 79, of Granger, Wyo., father of Mrs. Verne Poirier and Mrs. Wanda Meredith of Lusk was killed Friday evening at Sidney, Nebr. when he was thrown from the caboose of a train.
Mr. Wilson was a rancher at Granger and was accompanying a load of cattle to Omaha when the accident occurred.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Latter Day Saints Church in Green River.
Survivors include his wife of Granger; three sons, Woodrow of Pinedale, David of Rawlins, Algot of Granger; three daughters, Josephine Eccel, Green River; Wanda Meredith and Esther Poirier of Lusk; also two step sons of Concord, Calif.
