William "Bill" McKinley Brown
Bill Brown Dies in Casper Last Wed.
Funeral services were held Friday for Bill Brown of Glenrock and formerly of Lance Creek.
The Rev. Mullen officiated at the services held at the Community Church in Glenrock at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Brown died at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper on Wednesday, May 15.
William McKinley Brown was born December 3, 1896, at Cairo, Nebr. He and Victoria Ann Tuma were married October 1, 1918. They were the parents of three daughters. The family lived in McFadden for 22 years where he was employed by the Marathon (Ohio) Oil Company and later moved to Lance Creek where they made their home until he retired form the company 11 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Brown have since made their home in Glenrock.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria of Glenrock, two daughters, Mrs. Sidney (Genevieve) Hollaway of McFadden and Mrs. John (Patricia) Rodgers of Lance Creek; three grandchildren, Vickie, Mike and Mark Rogers, all of Lance Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Olive Rowe of Grand Island, Nebr. and Mrs. Flossie Pawleska of Green River; two brothers, Carl of Pueblo, Colo., and Homer of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Evangeline Marie and one brother.
