Alma E. Gaukel
Alma E. Gaukel of Hot Springs Village, AR died Jan 18, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society Care Facility. She was 91.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Lusk, Wyo. on January 23. Rosary will precede the service at 10:30. Interment in Lusk Cemetery will follow.
Alma was born May 11, 1923, in Keeline, Wyo. the daughter of Leo and Hedwich Heins. She was married for 59 years to Clarence Gaukel. They lived and raised their family in Denver, Co. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker who spent much of her time doing charitable volunteer work within the community and St. Jude Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and daughter, Virginia. Alma is survived by two daughters, Dianne Voltz, Lee's Summit, MO and Irene Sandhaus, Hot Springs Village, AR; a sister, Wilma Baldwin, Torrington, WY; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the charity of your choice.
Pier Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements in Lusk.
