Mrs. Ralph Maguire's Father Dies in Douglas
William Franklin Cunningham was born in Livingston County, Missouri, the son of Jacquai and Nancy Cunningham.
On Dec. 12, 1895, he was united in marriage with Florence Kempher at Blandinsville, Ill. Shortly after World War I, they moved to Shawnee where he filed on a homestead, and for a number of years Mr. Cunningham operated a general store and implement business at that place.
In Nov. 1923, Mrs. Cunningham passed away, and on Feb. 4, 1934, he was united in marriage with Cora E. Pugh, who died in 1951.
Surviving are two sons, Lyell of Shawnee and Francis of Burbank, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Maguire and Mrs. Jessie Roush of Douglas; and Mrs. Doris Brose of North Hollywood, Cal.; one brother, J. L. Cunningham of Loudonville, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. R. B. Mann of Los Angeles, Cal.; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One son, Edwin preceded him in death.

Mrs. Ralph Maguire's Father Dies in Douglas
It has been learned here that Mrs. Ralph Maguire's father, Mr. Cunningham, died at Douglas December 24. Many remember Mr. Cunningham from his visits here while the Maguires had a grocery store here.
