Constance "Connie" Eddine Steinle

Constance Eddine (Connie) Steinle, 41, died May 8 in an automobile accident near Douglas. She was the daughter of Ed Irvine and Rua Vee (Good) Whiting. She lived in Douglas until she was nine years old, then her family moved to Torrington and then to Denver where she attended the Kunsmiller Junior High School. She graduated from the Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, Colorado and attended two years at the Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. She was married Aug. 1, 1965 in Douglas to William E. (Bill) Steinle. They have lived on a ranch in the Bill area since their marriage. She is survived by her husband, Bill of the Dry Creek community north of Douglas; her mother and step-father, Rua and Robert Kirk of Douglas; four daughters, Sherri Kay, Mary Jane, Dawna Rose and Jackie Eddine Steinle, all of the family home; three half-brothers, Joel Kirk of Casper and Ben and Jeff Kirk, both of Douglas; one sister, Judy Rothrock of Elizabeth, CO; maternal grandmother, Ela Good of Douglas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
