Kenneth McDonald Killed by Shotgun Blast at Riverton

Kenneth McDonald, 12, of Riverton was killed Thursday evening, when a shotgun discharged directly in his face killing him instantly. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary McDonald, Sr., former Lusk residents. Mr. McDonald was employed by Wasson Chevrolet prior to moving to Riverton.

Funeral services were held Monday, at Hull, Neb.

Kenneth was at the home of a friend, the two were planning an evening of "trick or treating", when the accident occurred.

Kenneth apparently asked to see the friend's .410 shotgun, which he thought to be unloaded. While the boys were looking at the gun it discharged, McDonald taking the full blast in the face.
