Howard F. Sullivan Dies in Montana
Howard F. Sullivan, 55, son of the late P. Fred Sullivan of Lusk, died at his home at Helena, Montana, December 21, from a heart attack.
Mr. Sullivan received his early education in the Lusk schools and moved to Montana when a young man.
He was born in Lusk, Wyo., Jan 12, 1892, and was a member of the Helena police force for a year after moving there. In 1916 he entered the employ of the Northern pacific railway and since then had served as an engineer between Helena and Missoula.
Mr. Sullivan was active in Masonic circles in Helena and was a member of Morning Star Lodge No. 5, A.F & A.M., the Helena Scottish Rite, Algeria Shrine and Acacia Brotherhood. He was also a member of the Helena Aerie of Eagles and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen.
Survivors include his widow, Jennie B. Sullivan of Helena, and one step son, John A. Bywaters of Bremerton, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. a. E. Pomrenke and Mrs. Florence Freel, both of Casper, Wyo., and a brother, Ralph, also of Casper, as well as two stepbrothers and one step sister who reside at Casper.
