WIDOW OF TOM DON DIES AT JAY EM, MAY 23
Mrs. Sophie Don, widow of Tom Don, old-time resident of Lusk during the boom days, passed away at the home of her son, Rudolph, west of Jay em, Saturday evening, May 23, 7:00 o'clock.
Her death was a shock to her many friends, as she had been in good health until the day before her death.
The cause of her death was heart trouble and complications incident to her advancing age. She was 72 years, 7 months and 18 days old at the time of her passing.
Mrs. Don is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Don, who died at Alliance, Neb., in 1932. She is survived by two sons, Rudolph of Lusk and William of Boulder, Colo., and one adopted son, Alfred Salzman, of Douglas.
Mrs. Don was born in Germany and came to the United States at the age of 19, and has lived her entire life in Wyoming and Colorado.
The remains were shipped to Ft. Collins, Colo., Tuesday, where she was buried beside her late husband. Funeral services were probably held Wednesday.
