Rites held for Mrs. Rufus Brott
Mrs. Rufus (Beverly) Brott died last Thursday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident two weeks ago near Torrington. Services were held at 10 Monday morning in Torrington in the LDS Church and were being held in Lovell at the LDS Church this Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 with interment in the Lovell cemetery.
Brott formerly ranched in the Prairie Center area, but the couple more recently have made their home in Lovell.
Beverly Marie born Sept. 17, 1930, she was the daughter of Marvin C. and Serepta Asay Sessions. She attended colleges at Bozeman, Mont., and at Casper. She married Rufus P. Brott at Casper on Dec. 14, 1970. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors included the widower; two sons, Michael J. Strahan and John M. Strahan, both of Sheridan; two daughters, Billie Marie Jones of Gillette and Kimberley Sue Strahan of Torrington; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Sessions of Lovell; four sisters, Phyllis Wendell of Seattle, Wash., Elaine Moncur of Lovell, Carol Welch of Cowley and Susan Marshall of Aurora, Colo.; a stepson, Richard Brott and a stepdaughter, Mary Busskohl, both of Torrington, and six grandchildren.
