Word was received in Lusk Monday that Tony Padavich, 62, had died in Denver at the Sands House Association. He had been in failing health since June, when he first went to Denver for an operation. He was buried in Denver.
He was born in Yugoslavia in 1886 and came to the United States in 1903. He first came to Wyoming in 1922 and to Lusk in 1932. He worked at various highway construction jobs, and after coming to Lusk was in ranch work, being employed by C.A. David. He also was employed for a while at the Blub Billiards.
He maintained no contact with his old home in Yugoslavia, but said at one time that he might have distant cousins at Lead, So Dak.
