ARTHUR L. BLAIR PASSES AWAY AT SCOTTSBLUFF

Arthur L. Blair, an early day cow-puncher and rancher in this section, passed away on Thursday, June 16, at a hospital in Scottsbluff, Neb.

He had been a sufferer from ulcers of the stomach and died from an attack of acute indigestion.

Funeral services were held in Torrington on Sunday, which were attended by a host of old-time friends.

The Blair family came to this section of the state about thirty years ago, and here 12 children were born to them. Three of them have preceded their parents in death.

Mrs. Blair died about seven years ago and was buried in Torrington. The following children survive: Mrs. Frank Harris of Jay Em, Mrs. Mary Vaughn and Mrs. Mertie Hubbard of Lance Creek, Percy and Cy Blair of Kaycee, Wyo., Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Guernsey, Harry Blair of Ft. Laramie, Fred Blair of Cheyenne River and Artie Blair of Los Angeles.

Funeral services were held in Torrington Sunday afternoon, many, old-time friends from Lusk attending. The pallbearers were John W. Agnew, Otis Bump, Russell Bradley, Dan Chalfant, Hans Gautschi and Paul Cameron.
