From Hemingford Ledger
Mrs. H.L. Bushnell, Pioneer, Passes On
Saturday, at 12:30 p.m., Mrs. H. L. Bushnell, closing a long life of kindness, love and service, lifted the impenetrable veil and passed into that other land where her good deeds will be rewarded.
When old age can come as graciously and cheerfully to one as it came to Mrs. Bushnell, the life of that one leaves its imprint upon all whom it touches. Hers was one of those kind, friendly natures, seeing the best in those about her and making the best of bad and good circumstances. A joke, a smile, a word of good cheer greeted all who came within radius of her personality. Never failing friend, loving wife and mother, Christian character the world is a better place for her life.
