Ward Kindred's Nephew Killed in Car Accident
Paul B. Kindred of Loveland, Colo., nephew of Ward Kindred of Lusk, was killed when the car in which he was riding failed to make the curve on the highway near Severance, Colo., at 1:45 a.m., July 23. The car traveled 277 feet after leaving the oiled surface, rolling over twice. Both men were thrown from the car.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. July 26 in Greeley with Rev. Kenneth Smith, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks had charge of special services.
Ward Kindred and his son, Mathew, attended the funeral from Lusk. Mrs. Kindred, who is attending summer school at the Colorado State College of Education at Greeley, with their two daughters, Myra and Ruth also attended.
