Memorial Services Diane "Annie" Marshik
Memorial services for Diane "Annie" Marshik, 62, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Congregational Church in Lusk, with Pastor Mark Lohr officiating. Diane passed away at Regional West Medical Center Mon., Nov. 26, 2012. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Bearhead Cemetery in Pillsbury, Minn. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital are suggested.

Diane Marshik
Diane Jean Marshik, age 62, a resident of Lusk, Wyo., died Nov. 26, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services were held December 3rd at the Congregational Church in Lusk, with Pastor Mark Lohr officiating. Burial will be in the Bearhead Cemetery near Pillsbury, Minnesota.
Diane Jean Marshik was born Jan. 13, 1950 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Clinton and Hazel Garlock. Diane graduated from Little Falls Senior High School and received an Associate's Degree in Optical Technology from the Eveleth Area Vocational Technology Institure in Eveleth, Minnesota.
Diane married John Perry in 1970, and the couple moved to Wisconsin. The couple divorced in 1997 and Diane moved back to Minnesota in 2001 to be closer to her elderly mother and family. Diane spent most of her working career as a Certified Optician and a Coding Specialist for an Orthopedic Clinic.
Diane met Thomas A. Marshik from Hillman, Minnesota and they married September 8, 2006. The couple moved to a ranch near Lusk, Wyoming in August 2008. They have been members of the Congregational Church of Lusk since moving to Lusk. They have met some wonderful friends since moving there.
Diane enjoyed animals, especially her dogs and beautiful horses. She made some dear close friends with the Eastern Wyoming National Horsemanship Club and Node Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Marshik; sons; Jason Perry and wife Kristal of Denmark, Wisconsin and Brandon Perry and wife Kristy of Clarksville, Tennessee; step-daughter Tina Nelson and husband Josh of Minneapolis, Minnesota and step-son Thomas J. Marshik from Billings, Montana; sisters LaVonne Olson and husband Owen of Little Falls, Minnesota and Julene Bleichner and late husband Merle of Byron, Minnesota; brother Gary Garlock and wife Jeanette of Little Falls, Minnesota; grandchildren Samantha Wilson, Nolan Perry, Ian Perry, Owen Perry, Blake Weber and Zachary Nelson, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends were always near and dear to her heart. She was blessed to have all her family be able to visit her and Tom since moving to Lusk. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant son.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
