Samuel H. Saffell
George Saffell received word last Sunday from Thermopolis to the effect that his father was dangerously ill, at that place. He left the same morning for his bedside and arrived just before his father's death which occurred Tuesday morning at six o'clock. Mr. Saffell had been suffering for several months and had been told by physicians that a cure was impossible. He was a resident of Lusk for several years, coming here when the town was in its infancy - even before it was placed on the map of Wyoming, his children growing from childhood to manhood and womanhood in this community, two of whom, George and Pete, are still among us, and to them we extend our sympathy in their hour of trial.
