Chelan - Lawrence H. Kingman, 73, Chelan resident for 72 years, died Sunday in the Chelan hospital. He was born in Lusk, Wyo., Oct. 9, 1893 and came with his parents to Chelan the following year.
He married Ellen Noe Nov. 11, 1914. He was Councilman for the City of Chelan, past president of Chelan Rotary Club and active in lumber trade associations.
He is survived by his widow; sons, Elwyn of Cashmere, Howard of Chelan; his daughter, Kathleen Woods of Wenatchee; a brother, Henry of Vancouver; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale, in World War II.
