Mrs. Corlin Moore Dies Wednesday
Mrs. Corlin Moore, 87, of Lance Creek, passed away at the Spencer Hospital about noon on Wednesday, so few details as to funeral arrangements are available as The Herald goes to press.
Mrs. Moore is the mother of Floyd and Frank Moore, ranchers of the Lance Creek vicinity, and has been a patient at the hospital for the past three weeks, suffering from complications resulting from her advanced years.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Peet Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and burial will be made in the Harrison cemetery.

Mrs. Carlin Moore of Lance Creek Dies
Mrs. Carlin Moore, 85, passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 12:30 p.m., after having been confined to the hospital for about two weeks.
Mrs. Moore had been a resident of Lance Creek for the past 37 years and for some time has been making her home with her sons, Floyd and Frank Moore, of Lance Creek.
The deceased was the daughter of William and Maryette Myers and was born September 26, 1862, in Hardin County, Iowa. When a young woman she was married to Robert L. Moore and they are the parents of ten children, eight of whom survive their mother. They are: Mrs. Amy Peterson, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Florette Herrick, Rapid City, So. Dak.; Mrs. Lillian McKinnis and Miss Leona Moore, both of Roundup, Mont.; Dewey Moore, Dallas, Texas; Ralph Moore, Evanston, Wyo., and Frank and Floyd Moore of Lance Creek. She also leaves 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ada Thompson of Auburn, Nebr.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Lance Creek. Funeral services were conducted from the Peet Chapel on Friday afternoon, Feb. 13, at one o'clock, with the Rev. Mann and Grace Flint, pastors of the Open Bible Standard church, officiating.
The songs, "Lead Kindly Light," "Haven of Rest," "Let the Lower Lights Be Burning" and "Shall We Gather at the River?" were sung by Mrs. H. J. Templeton and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, accompanied on the chapel organ by Mrs. J. P. Watson.
Burial was made in the Harrison Cemetery.
