Services Held For Mrs. Bentley Here Wednesday

Mrs. Florence Bentley, 55, wife of James Bentley passed away at her ranch home Friday afternoon, April 9th after a few hours illness. She was stricken with an attack of apoplexy while working in the garden, but managed to get to the house, where her husband found her lying on the floor about ten-thirty a.m. and she passed away that afternoon at three-twenty.

The Bentley's have resided on a ranch twenty-four miles north of Lusk and have a large circle of friends in this community.

Mrs. Bentley was born in Neliegh, (Neligh) Nebr., being 55 years, seven months and 21 days old at the time of her death.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Melvin and Lyle, both of California and also a brother in Calif., another brother, John Bellar resides at Tilden, Nebr., and two sisters in Rapid City, S. Dak.

Funeral services were held at the Peet Funeral Chapel at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. M. H. Marshall reading the service.

"The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer My God to Thee" were sung by Miss Patricia Taylor, Miss Betty Allender, Frank Kuhn and Donald Lee Taylor, with Mrs. J. P. Watson as organist.

The pall bearers were Wm. Magoon, Chas. Heumier, Ford Porter, Roy Beard, Dave Kimball and Chester Flick.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
