B. T. Brown

B. T. Brown, 89, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Tuesday, June 30, 1992, at his home.

A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 3, 1992, at the First Baptist Church in Fort Collins. The Rev. Ray Barrett and the Rev. Ed Cooper officiated.

Brown was born Dec. 24, 1902, in Fort Collins, the son of Miles Brown and Clara Preston Brown. He married Edith D. Smith on Dec. 6, 1928, in Timnath.

Brown was a lifelong resident of the Harmony area. He was a farmer and a Top 10 beet grower for many years. His parents had the second oldest homestead in Larimer County. Brown attended the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Brown, of Fort Collins; one son, Tom Brown of Fort Collins; one daughter, Carolyn Hammond of Lance Creek, Wyo., six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Larimer County 4-H Foundation or the First Baptist Church in care of Warren Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
