Mrs. Jack Hensley
Mrs. J. Hensley Passes Suddenly
The community of Lance Creek was shocked and deeply saddened Tuesday evening with the death of Mrs. Jack Hensley who for the last two years has been a resident of the oil fields. She passed away at the local hospital Tuesday evening at 10:15 o'clock, her death caused by the rundown condition of her body before she submitted to an operation.
Mrs. Hensley was well known in the Lance Creek social circles and took an active interest in the Sunday school and Church work as well as being interested in school activities. The many friends that knew her will be deeply grieved by her absence as she was well liked and had a very sunny disposition.
The remains of Mrs. Hensley will be shipped to Honey Grove, Texas, her former home, where burial will be made. Survivors that were with her at the time of her death are her husband Jack Hensley, who is employed with the Manning and Martin drilling company, and her small daughter.
We are unable to secure the complete obituary and will try to obtain it for publishing of next week's Herald.
