John Hennessey
Commits Suicide Saturday Afternoon
Saturday afternoon about 4 P.M. John Hennessey, a man about 40 years of age, who has been around Lusk for some time died as the result of a self inflicted wound. He shot himself behind the right ear with a 38 calibre Colts.
That this action was contemplated for some time previous is evidenced by a letter which he left addressed to the Rev. E. F. Hamby of Lusk, the Baptist minister. The deceased left one sister who lives in St. Louis and to whom he wished to have word sent. The letter is as follows:
Dear Friend
Rev. Mr. Hamby
Dear Friend I am bidding you and all Dear Friends goodby. my alements have got the best of me.
hoping parden and forgiveness no matter how I try to forget it the nervisness and constent drain on me brakes all hopes of peace or any fitness for life, leaveing life or property my own worst enemy.
Mr. Hamby please write to my sister but she I know cant help.
